Create a node pointer

Create a node pointer in
Project view
 to reference to another node of the project.
  1. In
    Project view
    , select the folder or object to contain the variable.
  2. In
    Properties
    , create a dynamic link to the node to point to.
    For more information about dynamic links, see Create dynamic links.
  3. (optional) expand
    NodePointer
    #
     and complete these properties:
    • Kind
      . The kind of the node that the node pointer targets.
    • Node class
      . Either:
      • Instance
      • Type
      • Any
