Create retentivity storage

Create a retentivity storage data store to retain data of specific project nodes.
TIP: For some property values, you can use dynamic links. For more information, see Create dynamic links.
  1. Create the retentivity storage object:
    1. In the
      Project view
      pane, right-click
      Retentivity
      .
    2. Select
      New
      Retentivity storage
      .
    3. (optional) In
      Properties
      , in
      Name
      , select
      Edit
      to rename the storage.
  2. Add a project node to retain its data:
    1. In
      Properties
      , next to
      Nodes

      Add
      .
    2. (optional) Select

      , select Add Dynamic Link
      Set kind
      and create a dynamic link.
    4. (optional) Expand the node. In
      NodeClass
, select the class of the node or select
      Add Dynamic Link
      and create a dynamic link.
  3. Specify how often new data from the selected project nodes is saved by doing one of the following:
    • In
      Write delay
      , enter milliseconds by selecting
      Edit
      .
    • In
      Write delay
