Configure audit signing

Use AuditSigning to require users to provide electronic signatures.
  1. From the toolbar, select
    Template Libraries
    .
  2. In the
    Libraries
    window, search for
    Signing Workflows
    .
  3. Under
    Components
    , drag
    Signing Workflows
    onto
    UI
    in the
    Project view
    pane.
    In the
    Project view
    pane, the
    AuditSigning1
    folder appears.
  4. 4. Expand the
    AuditSigning1
    folder and select
    AuditDialogBox
    .
  5. 5. In the
    Properties
    pane, create a dynamic link between the
    Users
    property and
    ProjectName
    Security
    Users
    .

  6. In the
    Project view
    pane, select
    SigningController
    .
  7. In the
    Properties
    pane:
    1. Add users and groups allowed to sign and double sign.
    2. Select the default workflow type.
  8. In the
    Project view
    pane, select the variable.
    TIP: For example, if you want to trigger an electronic signature workflow when a user changes the value of a linear gauge, configure the variable object associated with the gauge value.

  9. In the
    Properties
    pane, at the top, select
    Add
    and select
    AuditSigning Signature
    .
  10. (optional) Configure the default audit signing settings by selecting a workflow type and adding users and groups who can complete the workflow.
    TIP: The default audit signing settings are inherited from the
    SigningController
    object.
  11. Repeat 1 through 10 for each variable that you want to trigger the electronic signature for.
