Welcome to FactoryTalk AssetCentre

FactoryTalk® AssetCentre
monitors your factory automation system and provides centralized tools to minimize downtime due to unauthorized actions or failing devices. It provides the following functions:
  • Archive, or source control, providing version management of device configuration files and other documents.
  • Logging, centrally capturing system events and user actions published by FactoryTalk-enabled software products.
  • Disaster Recovery, performs periodic backup of a control system’s devices' program and configuration files; ensuring a quick and accurate, albeit manual, recovery if a problem (such as device failure) occurs. Optionally, compare the backup against versioned master files to report differences.
  • Assets Lifecycle, actively scans control system networks discovering and inventorying Rockwell Automation and non-Rockwell Automation devices. Optionally, with Internet access, the system can retrieve metadata about Rockwell Automation device and firmware lifecycle status.
FactoryTalk Security is used to control user actions within the FactoryTalk AssetCentre system.
