General Asset Tree Best Practices

FactoryTalk AssetCentre is a modular software product, in that its different components can be very clearly distributed. The common tie across all capabilities, such as Disaster Recovery, Calibration Management, and Archive, is the Asset Tree. The Asset Tree is a hierarchical view of the different pieces within the application, including assets themselves (such as ControlLogix processor, PLC, RA Drive, and Process Device), as well as archived files.
