About the Asset Catalog

The Asset Catalog lists all the types of assets that can be added to the asset tree, in the Asset View. The Asset Catalog is only available when the Asset View is in Design mode.

With the Asset Catalog, you can select assets with which to populate the Asset Tree. Drag an asset from the Asset Catalog into the asset tree.
