Edit asset properties

When you add an asset to the asset tree, you provide certain information about that asset. These properties can be changed later. The properties associated with an asset vary depending on the type of asset.
Prerequisites
To edit an asset's properties, you must have the following permissions:
  • Switch to Design mode
  • Read
  • Write
To edit asset properties
  1. If you are not in it, enter Design mode.
  2. Select the asset whose properties you want to edit and select
    Edit > Properties
     or press
    F4
    .
  3. Change the information as desired. For detailed information, click
    Help
     in the
    Properties
    dialog box.
