Assets

An asset in FactoryTalk AssetCentre represents items of value in your automation system—things you want to control and to which you want to monitor access. They are the heart of FactoryTalk AssetCentre. To manage assets, you need to add them to the asset tree first. With FactoryTalk AssetCentre, you can design the asset tree, add, delete, rename, copy, and move an asset. You can also edit asset properties and change security settings for an asset.
