Asset properties dialog box
How do I open the Properties dialog box?
- Enter Design mode then right-click a device in the tree and selectProperties. (If you are not in Design mode, and you haveReadpermission, you can view but not edit the properties.)
- Keyboard shortcut: Select the device and pressF4.
Use the
Properties
dialog box to view or change the properties of an asset.Use this dialog box to:
- Sort the properties alphabetically, click
. - Sort the properties by category, click
. - Change a setting, click the setting you want to change, and then select or type a new value.
- Change the size of any column, move the cursor over the line dividing the columns until you see a cross-bar shape, and click and drag to expand or reduce the column size.
