Configuration Data Browser dialog box

How do I open the Configuration Data Browser dialog box?
You can open the Configuration Data Browser dialog box while adding a device to the asset tree or while editing a device's properties.
While adding a device to the asset tree:
  1. If you are not in Design mode, click design_mode_button.
  2. Drag a device from the Asset Catalog to a container in the Asset View.
  3. Click anywhere within the
    Configuration Data
    field and click browse_button_small.
While editing a device's properties:
  1. If you are not in Design mode, click design_mode_button.
  2. Double-click a device in the tree.
  3. Click anywhere within the
    Configuration Data
    field and click browse_button_small.
Use the
Configuration Data Browser
dialog box to add configuration files to a device, such as program files, documentation files, and so on. The configuration data can be in the form of a file, folder, or binder asset. You can specify the file, folder, or binder while adding the device or later by editing the device's properties.
If you are using the Disaster Recovery capability, the data specified here is used as the master for compare operations.
You can place the file, folder or binder in the asset tree first, before assigning it to the
Configuration Data
field or you can create the file, folder, or binder asset while editing the
Configuration Data
field. Therefore, the two methods to add configuration files to device assets depending on where the configuration files are.

Normal
