Export an Asset Inventory backup file (.raai) for PCDC

PCDC stands for Product Compatibility and Download Center. It is a Rockwell Automation web page, on which you can find product-related downloads including firmware, release notes, associated software, drivers, tools and utilities.
As a registered user, you can also upload to the page information about your products in order to receive compatibility, supportability, downloads and product lifecycle information about them.
To export an Asset Inventory backup file (.raai) for PCDC
  1. On the asset tree, right-click an
    .raai
     file, and then click button_export menu.
    The
    Save As
     dialog box appears.
  2. Type a name for the
    .raai
     file.
  3. Choose the location in which you want to save the file, and then click
    Save
    .
    TIP:
    You can also export the backup file using button_export menu on the toolbar of the
    Archive
     tab open for the selected
    .raai
     file.
