Work with groups

Combine graphic elements into a group to work with them as if they were a single graphic element.

Work with the graphic elements as a group or manipulate the individual graphic elements within the group. Groups can be created within groups to form sub-groups.

When you ungroup elements within a group, animations, events, and the binding properties of the group are lost. Bindings and expressions that reference graphic elements and Add-On Graphics that are a part of the group still work.

You can work with groups or individual elements within a group by selecting an item on the screen (canvas) or in the Graphic Explorer. Some operations are available directly on the screen or in the Graphic Explorer while others require highlighting an item and editing its properties in the Properties window.
