Change the stacking order of graphic elements and groups

Stack graphic elements and groups so that one graphic element or group appears in front of another. Change the stacking order by moving an item forward, backward, or in front of all of the other items on the screen or Add-On Graphic. The order is reflected in the
Graphic Explorer
. Change the stacking order of groups. Changing the graphic elements contained in a group is not supported.
To change the stacking order of graphic elements and groups:
  1. On the screen or Add-On Graphic, right-click the graphic element or group and select
    Order
    .
    TIP:
    Tips:
    • When a group is in the editing mode, you can select elements inside the group.
    • Select a graphic element or group in the
      Graphic Explorer
      .
  2. Select one of the following options:
    • Bring to Front.
      Move the selected graphic element or group to the top of the stack.
    • Bring Forward.
      Move the selected graphic element or group one level forward.
    • Send Backward.
      Move the selected graphic element or group one level backward.
    • Send to Back.
      Move the selected graphic element or group to the bottom of the stack.
      TIP:
      Alternate methods of changing the stacking order:
      • On the
        Drawing
        toolbar, select the
        Order
         down arrow, and select an option.
      • Select
        ARRANGE > Order
        , and then select an option.
