Draw simple objects
Simple objects are the plain, graphical elements in a display that you draw using the options on the Objects, Drawing menu in the Graphics editor. You can associate them with a tag and attach animation to animate them.
To draw a simple object:
- InFactoryTalk View Studio, in theGraphicseditor, create or open a display.
- SelectObjects>Drawingand then the name of the drawing tool you are going to use.
- Drag the tool or click end points to create a shape.TIP:Some objects such as rectangles, ellipses, and arcs can only be drawn by dragging. Other objects, such polylines and polygons, can be drawn by clicking the end points or by dragging and releasing the mouse.
- To finish drawing, click the mouse in the graphic display away from the object. For polylines and polygons, right-click mouse. The method to use depends on the tool you are using.TIP:When you draw a polyline or polygon, you must complete the object before you exit from the graphic display or it will not be saved. Complete the object by double-clicking at the end point.
