Draw a panel

Use the panel tool to draw rectangles and squares that have borders. You can set up panel objects to blink at runtime. The panel object does not support animation.
To draw a panel:
  1. In
    FactoryTalk View Studio
    , in the
    Graphics
     editor, select
    Objects
     >
    Drawing
     >
    Panel
    .
  2. Drag the mouse to position and draw a rectangle the general size and location you intend the panel to be.
    TIP:
    To draw a square panel, press
    Ctrl
    as you drag the mouse.
  3. In the
    Panel Properties
     dialog box, specify how you want the panel to look.
  4. When the panel is drawn, you can continue to draw another object or click anywhere in the display to finish drawing with the tool.
