Draw a polyline

A polyline is a series of connected line segments.

To draw a polyline:
  1. In
    FactoryTalk View Studio
    , in the toolbox, select Polyline_Tool.
  2. Drag Polyline_Tool to create the first segment of the object.
  3. To create the next line segment, point the tool at its end then click the left mouse button. Repeat for each line segment.
    TIP:
    To draw a horizontal or vertical line, press
    Ctrl
    as you drag the tool.
  4. When you finish drawing the object, double-click outside the object.
  5. In the
    Polyline Properties
     dialog box, change the styles if needed. If you choose a fill pattern, the object is filled as accurately as possible even if it is not a closed figure.
