Select a pattern for a graphic object

For all the simple objects on the Drawing menu, except Text, Image, and Line, you can select a pattern to fill the object with. You can also select a color for the fill pattern.
To select a fill pattern and color for an object:
  1. Right-click the object and then click
    Properties
    .
  2. In the
    Properties
     dialog box, in the
    General
     tab, select a pattern style from the list.
  3. Click a pattern color field to open a color selection toolbar and then select a color, or click
    Other
     to open a dialog box in which you can define a custom color.
