provides a default

Alarm Summary

screen,

Alarm Manager

screen, and

Alarm History

screen. Change an alarm screen or add an alarm table graphic element to a new screen to create your own alarm screen.

View Designer

requires no configuration or tag binding to display alarms on the HMI device. Use

Logix Designer

to program alarm detection instructions and create tag-based alarms in a

Logix 5000

controller.

Each controller in a

View Designer

project displays a combination of up to 4,000 tag-based or 1000 instruction-based alarms. The 5380, 5480 and 5580 Logix families of controllers support tag-based alarms. A

project with four controllers displays a maximum of 16,000 tag-based alarms.
