Create Numeric Input Enable buttons

At runtime, the operator can use the
Numeric Input Enable
button to open a numeric pop-up keypad or scratchpad. When the operator presses the button, the pop-up opens. The operator can use the pop-up to enter a numeric value to send to the Value connection at the data source
,
or to ramp a displayed value up or down.
To create a Numeric Input Enable button
  1. In the
    Graphics Display
    editor, select
    Objects > Numeric and String > Numeric Input Enable
    or drag Numeric Input Enable button from the toolbox.
  2. Drag the mouse to position and draw a rectangle the general size and location you want the button to be.
  3. Double-click the button to open its
    Properties
    dialog box.
  4. In the
    Properties
    dialog box, specify how the button looks and how it will work at runtime.
