Numeric pop-up keypad keys

Use the keys on an external keyboard or keypad (where equivalent keys exist) in place of any of the buttons in the numeric pop-up keypad.

Decimal
The decimal button (.) on the pop-up keypad is visible only if the decimal point type is Implicit. If the decimal button is visible, you can also use the decimal key on an external keyboard or keypad.
Minus
Press the minus button (-) on the pop-up keypad or the minus key on an external keyboard or keypad to toggle the value between positive and negative.
Escape
To close the pop-up keypad without writing the value to the Value connection, press the
ESC
button on the pop-up keypad or the
Esc
key on an external keyboard or keypad.
Backspace
To delete the right-most digit, press Backspace symbol on the pop-up keypad or external keyboard or keypad. Hold the button down to delete multiple digits. If there are no digits left, the minus sign, if any, is removed.
Enter
Press Enter symbol on the pop-up keypad or on an external keyboard or keypad to write the value to the Value connection.
Delete
Press the
Delete
key on an external keyboard or keypad to clear the scratchpad.
TIP:
If the graphic display is changed remotely before the operator has pressed the
Enter
button in the pop-up keypad, the keypad closes without writing out a value.
If the computer’s resolution is smaller than 124 pixels wide by 240 pixels high, the pop-up keypad cannot open.
