Alarm Import Export Wizard

How do I open the Alarm Import Export Wizard?
  1. Open the
    Alarms
     folder in the
    Explorer
     window.
  2. Right-click
    Alarm Setup
     and select
    Import and Export
    from the
    Context
     menu.
  3. If the
    Alarm Setup
     editor is opened and has unsaved changes, a message appears asking if you want to save your changes.
    • Select
      Yes
       to save your changes, close the
      Alarm Setup
      editor and open the Alarm Import Export Wizard.
    • Select
      No
      to close the
      Alarm Setup
      editor without saving your changes and open the Alarm Import Export Wizard.
    • Select
      Cancel
      to leave the
      Alarm Setup
       editor open. The Alarm Import Export Wizard will not open.
An application's alarm configuration information is created in the application's
Alarm Setup
editor and is contained in a file called MachineAlarms.MAL.
Use Alarm Import Export Wizard to export the information to an XML file, or to import an alarm configuration XML file and create a new alarm configuration (MachineAlarms.MAL file) for an application.
