Create a ramp button

At runtime the operator can use the ramp button to increase or decrease the value of a tag. Ramp buttons can be set up to change a value by either an integer or floating point value. You can use two ramp buttons together to create an increase/decrease control.
To create a ramp button:
  1. In
    FactoryTalk View Studio
    , in the
    Graphics
    editor, select
    Objects
    >
    Push Button
    >
    Ramp
, or click the ramp button icon in the toolbox.
  2. Drag the mouse to position and draw a rectangle the general size and location you intend the button to be.
  3. In the
    Ramp Button Properties
dialog box, specify the how the button looks, its tags, and whether to use auto repeat.
    TIP:
Set up a numeric display object to display the value of the ramp button’s Value connection.
