Create a button

The
Button
push button is a generic button that you can set up to run FactoryTalk View SE commands on the press, repeated press, or release actions, or all three. Alternatively, you can set it up to set a tag from 1 to 0 (zero) or from 0 to 1.
TIP:
Buttons support visibility, color, horizontal and vertical slider, horizontal and vertical position, width, and height animation.
To create a Button object:
  1. In
    FactoryTalk View Studio
    , in the
    Graphics
    editor, select
    Objects
    >
    Push Button
    >
    Button
    .
  2. Drag the mouse to draw and position a rectangle the general size and place the button is to be.
  3. In the
    Button Properties
    dialog box, specify the button style and runtime behavior, the action to be initiated by the button, and its up and down appearance.
  4. Click
    OK
    to save the settings when you have completed setting up the button.
