Description
Capture cursor
Select this check box to specify that the cursor will be captured when the button is pressed at runtime. When the cursor is captured, it cannot move off the button until the mouse button is released. Use this setting in places where you need to ensure that the release action for a button is carried out.
Do not use this option if the button will be used to open or close a display, because if you do, when the button is pressed the mouse cursor will lock up.
If this is cleared, the button behaves like a standard Windows button that lets you cancel a release action. To do this, once you have pressed the button you can hold the mouse button down and drag the cursor off the button before you release the mouse button so that the release action will not be carried out.
Highlight when object has focus
Select this check box to specify that the button will be highlighted at runtime when it has input focus. If you select this, you must be sure to clear the check box for the
Disable Highlight When Object Has Input Focus
option, (in the Display Settings > Behavior) so that the input focus highlight will be visible.
Tab index
Type a number to specify the order in which the Tab key will select the button. If you leave this blank, the Graphics editor assigns the next index number available for the display. If you specify a number, the existing index numbers are adjusted to accommodate it.
