Set up general characteristics for a Button

In the General tab of the Properties dialog box, specify general characteristics for the button including style, index number, and whether or not the cursor is captured when the button is pressed.
TIP:
To change the shape of a button, select it, choose polygon under the
Objects
menu, and move the vertices as you would any other polygon shape.
To set up the general characteristics of a Button:
  • In the
    Button Properties
    dialog box, in the
    General
    tab, fill in the fields to describe the button's style and general runtime behavior.
    TIP:
    Highlight and shadow bevel colors use the current system settings.
    Button face and text colors can be changed in the
    Up
    and
    Down Appearance
    tabs, or by selecting the button and then clicking a color in the
    Background Color
    toolbar to change the face, or
    Foreground Color
    toolbar to change the text.
