Button Properties - Disabled Appearance tab
The following table shows options in the tab.
Options | Description |

Show Disabled State | Select this check box if you want the settings specified for Disabled Appearance to be used for the appearance of the button when it is disabled. |
Expression | Enter a tag name or an expression that will evaluate to True (any non-zero value) or False (zero) at runtime.An expression is a mathematical or logical equation that returns a value. It can contain tag names, constants, mathematical, relational, logical and/or bitwise operators and functions. A tag name can also stand alone as an expression. |
Button state when expression is true | Select one state of the object when the expression returns True . |
Disabled Image Settings | Configure the image to be displayed on the button face when the state is disabled. |
Use automatic grayscale | Select this to use the ashed image of Up Appearance on the button. Tip: At runtime, a specific arithmetic is used to ash the image of Up Appearance. Adding a great number of images or adding images of large size may affect the performance. |
Use image reference | Select this to use an image from the current HMI project. This lets you reference the image from any button on a display in this HMI project. If you modify the image, the appearance of all buttons that have references to the image will also change. |
Import file | Select this and then click the Import button to locate and select a bitmap or icon to display on the button. The imported graphic is placed in the center of the button and saved with it. The caption is displayed on top of the imported graphic. This does not add the image to the Images folder in the Explorer. |
Scale image | Select this check box to scale the image to fit within the dimensions of the button. This applies to both referenced and imported images. |
