Secure resources

To secure the resources in the

FactoryTalk

system, select the resource, and use

Allow

or

Deny

permissions to specify which users can perform what actions on that resource from what computers. This helps ensure that only authorized personnel can perform approved actions from appropriate locations.

Common actions include the ability to see the resource, to edit or delete it, and to add additional items to the resource. Additional securable actions might appear, depending on which

FactoryTalk

products installed.
