System Banner

The
System Banner
 appears at the top of each screen in a project by default. It contains default navigation items:
  • A button to open the
    AlarmSummary
     screen
  • The current number of unacknowledged alarms
  • Previous
    and
    Next
    button
  • The username of the logged on user.
  • Diagnostic icons indicating the status of data logging and project events.
  • Network and controller status
  • The current date and time for the HMI device
  • Controller information for controller issues
The HMI designer may change the
System Banner
 to:
  • Add graphic elements, such as buttons, text displays, or configured elements such as a gauge to display a data value.
  • Omit default items.
  • Change the appearance of the
    System Banner
    , such as background color or height.
Graphic elements with invalid tag values are outlined in red on the HMI device. An
Error
icon Icon: Runtime Error icon off the edge of the screen pointing down appears in the
System Banner
 for graphic elements with invalid tag values that exist outside of the
System Banner
.
