Virtual Standard Keyboard

The
Virtual Standard Keyboard
opens when interacting with a graphic element that requires text input.

Type characters in the
Input
box. Any entry for the graphic element appears highlighted automatically when the
Virtual Standard Keyboard
opens. There is no limit to the number of characters in the
Input
box. The characters at either end of the
Input
box appear with a gradient when not all of the typed characters are visible. Scroll horizontally to see the remaining characters.

Clear
ViewRTkeybdclear removes all characters from the
Input
box. This key appears only when there are characters in the
Input
box.

Backspace
Icon: BackspaceKey deletes one character to the left at a time.

Language Selector
Icon: Euro Characters Key displays an alpha European character on each key. Display characters in upper or lowercase.

Symbols
Icon: SymbolsKey displays a symbol on each key. To re-display the standard alpha characters, tap
ABC
,
which replaces
Symbols
Icon: SymbolsKey.

Shift
Icon: Runtime keyboard Shift key toggles the keyboard between uppercase and lowercase letters for one keystroke.

Caps Lock
toggles the between uppercase and lowercase letters. The
Virtual Standard Keyboard
remains in the selected state until you tap
Caps Lock
again.
