Upgrade firmware from a remote computer

When the terminal is connected to a
Windows
 computer running the Firmware Upgrade Wizard, you can perform a remote upgrade.
To perform a remote upgrade
  1. Open the Firmware Upgrade Wizard.
    Use one of the following methods:
    • From Windows
      Start
      menu, select
      All apps > Rockwell Software > ME Firmware Upgrade Wizard
      .
    • In
      FactoryTalk View Studio
      , from the
      Tools
      menu, select
      Firmware Upgrade Wizard
      .
  3. Select the terminal in the
    Communications
    tree.
The terminal is automatically restarted by the Wizard.
