Select the terminal

If you have a network connection using
FactoryTalk Linx
 between the computer and the terminal, select the terminal whose firmware you want to upgrade.
To select a terminal
  1. In the
    FactoryTalk Linx
     communication tree, click the terminal you want to communicate with.
  2. Click
    Next
    .
    • If you select a valid ME terminal, the next step is to specify a firmware version. Valid terminals include
      PanelView Plus 7
       and
      PanelView Plus 6
       terminals.
    • If you select an invalid ME terminal, an error message shows. Close the message window and select a valid terminal.
