Options dialog box: Extended Properties

How do I open the Options: Extended Properties dialog box?
  1. Select
    Tools > Options
    .
  2. Under
    Category
     on the left side of the dialog box, select
    Extended Properties
    .
Customize extended properties to store extra information for an asset besides its default properties.
 Use the
Options: Extended Properties
 dialog box to configure default extended properties for device asset types, including:
  • Add or delete default extended properties
  • Edit the default extended property name and value
You can add up to 20 extended properties. The configuration in this dialog box applies to device assets newly added to the asset tree, not to the existing ones. Changes in this dialog box will not affect the existing assets' extended properties. When adding a device asset to the asset tree, you may change the default extended properties as needed.
