Unpin files or binders

Select

View > Archive

, or click the

Archive

button.

In the asset tree, select the asset containing the file or binder to unpin, or select the file or binder with the version to unpin. If you select an asset, select the file or binder on the

Archive

tab.

On the

Archive

tab, click the

History

tab or the

Labels

tab.

At the bottom of the tab, select the version to unpin.

Click

Remove Pin

. (If you don't see the

Remove Pin

button on the

History

tab, increase the size of the

FactoryTalk AssetCentre

window.)

In the

Remove Pin

dialog box's

Comments

box, enter an optional comment with the reason for unpinning the version, and click

OK

. The maximum length for a comment is 2,500 characters.

The pushpin icon is removed from the version.
