Create local messages

To create local messages:
  1. In
    FactoryTalk View Studio
    , in the
    Explorer
    window, double-click the
    Graphics
folder to open it, if necessary, and then double-click the
    Local Messages
    icon.
  2. In the
    Local Messages
editor, enter a trigger value and its message.
    TIP:
When you type the first value, a new line is created in the spreadsheet.
When you right-click in a row, a context help that contains editing commands, opens.
  3. Repeat this for as many triggers as are required.
    TIP:
To sort messages, highlight the rows to sort, right-click in any row, and then select
    Sort
. The messages are sorted by trigger value.
  4. Click
    Close
, to name and save the messages file.
