Value Entry tab

Use the
Value Entry
tab to select the default input method for entering text and values in Text Input and Numeric Input graphic elements on the HMI device. Use either:
  • The popup
    View 5000 Virtual Numeric Keypad
     and
    Virtual Standard Keyboard
    . This is the default for Text Input and Numeric Input graphic elements in
    PanelView
     projects.
  • Inline editing. Enter the value directly in the Text Input or Numeric Input graphic element using a physical keyboard, the virtual keyboard of the operating system, or another configured input method of the operating system. This is the default for Text Input and Numeric Input graphic elements
    View 5000 Server
     projects.
