Asset Inventory Management with Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus and Allen-Bradley MobileView assets

Due to the nature of the CIP scan used to identify Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus and Allen-Bradley MobileView assets, the device address must be manually when added to the asset tree. All of the device’s CIP properties will be transferred to the new asset, but a FactoryTalk Linx browse out to the asset will be required to create the path. Once this is completed, the asset can be updated using the Asset Inventory as with any other asset type.
