About running a schedule

You can run schedules automatically or manually. Choosing to run a schedule manually immediately emails notifications to your distribution list instead of having to wait for the operation's next run time. Running a schedule manually does not affect that schedule's next run time. You cannot manually run a schedule with the Running status. A schedule that is executing as a Run Now event cannot be activated.
Once the schedule is run manually, it returns to Waiting to Run status. If running the schedule manually causes the schedule to run through its start time, FactoryTalk AssetCentre does not attempt to run the previously scheduled operation. Instead, the message
The schedule has tripped but didn't run because it is running
is logged to the AssetCentre Event Log and the schedule waits to run again at its next start time.
IMPORTANT:
When using FactoryTalk AssetCentre software to run Disaster Recovery schedules and Change Detect for your devices, 2048KB or higher bandwidth is required.
