Export compare engine configurations

Comparison software configurations (the location of the software, command line parameters, file types for which to use the comparison software) can be exported to a file, which can be imported to another FactoryTalk AssetCentre server.
To export compare engine configurations
  1. Select
    Tools > Options
    .
  2. In the left column, click
    Compare Engines
    .
  3. In the right pane, click Export_button to export.
  4. Use the
    Select Compare Engine
    dialog box to specify which compare engines to export. You can use
    Shift-Click
    and
    Ctrl-Click
    to select multiple compare engines. Click
    OK
    .
  5. Use the
    Save As
     dialog box to provide a filename and location for the exported list.
  6. Transfer the saved file to the FactoryTalk AssetCentre server on which you want to import the settings.
