Repair an agent controller's permissions

You can repair permissions for the current account that is running the agent controller. For example, when you install some software such as Siemens S7 Controller (TIA Portal), RA drive, and Logix 5000 before installing the FactoryTalk AssetCentre Agent, you can select
Repair
 to make them work correctly.
To repair an agent controller's permissions
  1. Open the FactoryTalk AssetCentre Agent Controller Launch Control Panel.
    From
    Windows Start
     menu, select
    Rockwell Software
     >
    FactoryTalk AssetCentre Agent Controller Launch Control Panel
    .
    Or
    Navigate to
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockwell Software\AssetCentre Agents\AgentController
    , and double-click
    RA.FTAC.AgentControllerLaunchPanel.exe
    .
    If displayed, click
    Yes
    when the
    User Account Control
    dialog box prompts for Windows users.
  2. In the
    Agent Controller Launch Control Panel
     window, click the
    Repair
    button.
The agent controller starts repairing the permissions, and permissions for the current identity who is running the agent controller will be repaired.
