Add an FBAxis to the controller project

In
FactoryTalk Design Workbench
, a 2080-MOT-HSC plug-in module that is added to a
Micro800
controller project can be activated with
Feedback axis
. The number of supported FBAxes in a controller project varies with the controller type.
After adding a 2080-MOT-HSC plug-in module and activating it with
Feedback Axis
:
  • On the
    2080-MOT-HSC
    configuration page, a
    Feedback Axis
    node is created. Select the node to view and configure the settings on the following pages:
  • On the PTO Motion configuration page, a
    FBAxis<x>
    checkbox is added. The checkbox is selected and read-only by default.
Prerequisites
To add an FBAxis to the controller project
  1. In
    Project Organizer
    , go to
    I/O Configurations
    Plug-in
    , and then double-click
    2080-MOT-HSC
    .
  2. On the
    2080-MOT-HSC
    page, select the
    Configuration
    node.
  3. From the
    Enable plug-in with
    list, select
    Feedback axis
    .
After adding an FBAxis to the controller project:
  • On the
    PTO Motion - General
    configuration page, the
    FBAxis<x>
    checkbox becomes available. The checkbox is selected and read-only.
  • On the
    PTO Motion - General
    page, a
    Feedback Axis
    node becomes available.
