Start FactoryTalk View ME Station automatically by setting up the startup options

 terminal, or personal computer, you can set up
FactoryTalk View ME Station
 to start automatically and enter the Configuration Mode whenever the terminal or computer starts.
TIP:
On a
PanelView Plus
 or
PanelView Plus Compact
 terminal,
FactoryTalk View ME Station
 starts automatically when the terminal starts.
To start
FactoryTalk View ME Station
 automatically and enter the Configuration Mode when a terminal or computer starts
  1. Start
    FactoryTalk View ME Station
    .
  2. Click
    Terminal Settings
     and select:
    • Startup Options > FactoryTalk View ME Station Startup
       on a
      PanelView Plus 7
      ,
      PanelView Plus 6
      ,
      PanelView Plus
      ,
      PanelView Plus Compact
      , or
      PanelView Plus CE
       terminal
    • FactoryTalk View ME Station Startup
       on a
      MobileView
       terminal or a personal computer
  3. In the
    Startup Settings
     dialog box, click
    Edit
    .
  4. Select the
    Go to Configuration Mode
     option.
  5. If you loaded an application, click
    Configuration Mode Options
     to set up whether to load the current application and whether to replace
    FactoryTalk Linx
     communications when the terminal starts.
  6. Click
    OK
     to close the
    Configuration Mode Options
     dialog box.
  7. Click
    OK
     to close the
    FactoryTalk View ME Station Startup
     dialog box.
  8. Click
    Close
    to close the
    Startup Settings
     dialog box.
  9. Click
    Close
    to close the
    Terminal Settings
     dialog box.
  10. On a
    PanelView Plus 7
    ,
    PanelView Plus 6
    ,
    PanelView Plus
    ,
    PanelView Plus Compact
    , or
    PanelView Plus CE
     terminal, click
    Reset
     and confirm the changes.
