Start FactoryTalk View ME Station automatically on a MobileView terminal or a personal computer from Windows Startup folder

On a
MobileView
 terminal or a personal computer, you can start
FactoryTalk View ME Station
 automatically whenever the terminal or computer starts by setting up the startup options or follow the steps below.
To start
FactoryTalk View ME Station
 automatically when a
MobileView
 terminal or a personal computer starts
  • Copy the path to the MERuntime.exe file (FactoryTalk View ME Station) to the Windows
    Startup
    folder.
    The default folders of the path to the MERuntime.exe file is
    C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Rockwell Software\
    FactoryTalk View
    .
    The Windows
    Startup
    folder is
    C:\Users\<logged in user name>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
    .
    TIP:
    If you copied the path to the MERuntime.exe file to the Windows
    Startup
    folder, to disable the automatic startup of
    FactoryTalk View ME Station
    , delete the file in the Windows Startup folder.
