Create a list indicator
The list indicator displays a list of states for a process or operation, and highlights the current state. Each state is represented by a caption in the list. This type of indicator is useful if you want to view the current state but also want to see the other possible states. For sequential processes, the list can alert the operator about what happens next in the process.
You configure the state values of the list indicator. Then, at runtime, the object highlights the state in the list whose value matches the Indicator connection value at the data source.
TIP:
If the value of the Indicator connection does not match any of the configured state values for the list indicator, none of the states are highlighted.
To create a list indicator
- In theGraphics Displayeditor, selectObjects >Indicator > Listor drag
from the toolbox.
- Drag the mouse to position and draw a rectangle the general size and location you want the indicator to be.
- Double-click the indicator to open itsPropertiesdialog box.
- In thePropertiesdialog box, specify how the indicator looks, set up its states, and assign an Indicator tag.
