Options dialog box: Assets Lifecycle

How do I open the Options: Assets Lifecycle dialog box?
  1. Select
    Tools > Options
    .
  2. Under
    Category
    on the left side of the dialog box, select
    Assets Lifecycle
    .
Use the
Options: Assets Lifecycle
 dialog box to:
  • Turn on the automatic synchronization of data from the Rockwell Automation lifecycle website with the FactoryTalk AssetCentre database.
  • Configure the frequency in days of automatic synchronization for asset lifecycle data.
Select
Enable Automatic Synchronization
 to turn on the automatic synchronization of lifecycle data.
  • In the
    Start at
     list
    Select or enter a time to specify when the automatic synchronization starts. When entering the time, make sure its format follows
    hh:mm AM
     (or
    PM
    ).
  • In the
    days
    list
    Click the up and down arrow or enter the frequency in days of running the automatic synchronization.
The lifecycle synchronization should be configured during server null time (time when no scheduled tasks or user interaction is taking place) if possible.
With the synchronization process being based on product ID or catalog number quantity, it can take some time to complete based on the total collected, and will require server resources during runtime.
