Motoman Robot operation properties for disaster recovery
Following are all possible settings for disaster recovery schedules for Motoman robot
assets.
These settings are used for two purposes:
- Specify default disaster recovery schedule settings for Motoman robots inTools > Options.
- Specify the settings of a particular Motoman robot asset in an existing schedule on theSchedulestab. Changes to the settings within a schedule override the default settings for that instance.
Unless noted otherwise, each setting applies to backup schedules and backup and compare schedules.
Event Settings
- Master File Path Name(Only available when editing an existing schedule, not when setting defaults.) This field shows the folder containing the master files to be used in disaster recovery operations. Files are kept in archive where several versions of the same file may be stored. Disaster recovery operations use the pinned version of the files in this folder or, if no version has been pinned, the most recent version of the files in this folder. This folder is specified in theConfiguration Datafield of the robot's properties. For other device types you can use this field to specify another version for the master file. Because robots use a folder rather than an individual file as the master, you cannot use this field to select a particular version. Folders do not support pinning and versions. If you click the field and then click
, the message No version or label information is available for folderswill appear. - (Backup and compare schedules only) Promote New Upload to MasterThis defaults toFalse. If set toTrue, when differences are detected this uploads the current file from the physical asset to archive and makes that version the master file for the asset.
