Comparison Details dialog box
This dialog box shows details for an item selected in the
Comparison Overview
dialog box. When you close this dialog box, the Comparison Overview
dialog box is shown and you can select another item to view details.File
Includes options to save the detailed comparison results or to close the dialog box.
To save the results as a PDF file, select
Save detailed compare result as
.Tree in left pane
Click on a node in the tree to see differences for that part of the program.
Path
Shows the path to the compared files on the local computer.
Object
Shows the location of the actual processor.
Chart
Shows the details of the comparison. Changes are indicated in red.

code all red | the code was added or removed when an address was added or removed. |
code partially red | the code changed. |
Absolute representation (address) or code all black | it did not change. |
Disaster Recovery schedules have a very similar compare report for Siemens controllers.
In both Rockwell Automation Compare and Disaster Recovery compare operations, results shown in FactoryTalk AssetCentre show blank lines where an item was inserted or deleted in one of the comparison versions. In the report saved as a PDF file, however, blank lines are not shown.
