Change the status of a Diagnostics and Health Log record

Each record in the Diagnostics and Health Log has a Status field associated with it. Set the status to indicate whether or not the issue has been resolved or needs to be addressed. You can comment on a log record, whether or not you change its status.
Prerequisites
  • To view the dialog box necessary to change the status of or add a comment to the status of a Diagnostics and Health Log record, you must be granted
    View Diagnostic and Health Status
    permission.
  • To actually change the status of or add a comment to the status of a Diagnostics and Health Log record, you must be granted
    Change Diagnostics and Health Log Message
     permission.
To change the status of a Diagnostics and Health Log record
  1. Select
    View > Logs
    , or click the
    Logs
     button.
  2. Select
    View > Diagnostics & Health Log
    , or click the
    Diagnostics & Health Log
     button.
  3. Double-click the desired record row, or with the desired row selected, in the
    Log Item Details
     pane at the bottom of the log, click newdandhlogdetailsicon.
    TIP:
    ADDA logs are not editable.
  4. Complete the
    Diagnostics and Health Log Item
     dialog box.
  5. Click
    Close
    .
