Scanning Configuration dialog box

How do I open the Scanning Configuration dialog box?
You can open the
Scanning Configuration
dialog box while adding an Asset Inventory asset to the asset tree or editing the asset's properties.
While adding an Asset Inventory asset to the asset tree:
  1. If you are not in Design mode, click design_mode_button.
  2. Drag Asset Inventory from the Asset Catalog to a container in the Asset View.
  3. Click anywhere within the
    Scanning Configuration
     field and then click browse_button_small.
While editing an Asset Inventory asset's properties:
  1. If you are not in Design mode, click design_mode_button.
  2. Double-click Asset Inventory in the tree.
  3. Click anywhere within the
    Scanning Configuration
     field and then click browse_button_small.
Use the
Scanning Configuration
 dialog box to specify the properties used to scan the connected devices and computers on the network and collect unique identification information about hardware, firmware, and software.
