Integrate an editor for a Siemens controller

When FactoryTalk AssetCentre was installed, editors for Siemens S5 Controllers and S7 Controllers (STEP7) were integrated with FactoryTalk AssetCentre. If you install a new editor, you need to integrate it with FactoryTalk AssetCentre. If you uninstall an editor you need to remove the integration.
To integrate a new editor
  1. In
    Control Panel
    , open
    Add or Remove Programs
    .
  2. Select
    FactoryTalk AssetCentre Client
     and click
    Change
    .
  3. Click
    Next
     on the first page of the installation wizard.
  4. Choose
    Modify
    , and then click
    Next
    .
  5. Use the
    Custom Setup
     page to add or remove integration for an editor.
  6. Click
    Next
     and proceed with the installation, following the instructions on the screen.
