User-defined libraries

User-defined libraries promote reuse, streamline workflows, and create consistency by allowing you to standardize objects. Use user-defined libraries to customize the separation and organization of groups of objects in a project.
User-defined libraries are distinct from the
Project library
. You can create multiple user-defined libraries in a project, share and then import those user-defined libraries into other projects, and delete user-defined libraries from the project. You cannot delete or share the
Project library
outside of the project.
Create a user-defined library to curate reusable content, such as Add-On Instructions, Smart Objects, and Data Types. Once created, user-defined libraries that you create appear in the
User-defined libraries
folder of the
Library
explorer.
